Hi Everyone!

I'm having a hard time getting started writing this week's Trade Journal. Guess I'll just start writing.

It reminds me of the editor of our local newspaper in Alexandria, LA. He starts every article with, “Good morning. Today is February 1, 2010 [or whatever date].”

It always annoys me, but I know why he does it. It's to get started. Once he starts writing - anything - the rest starts to flow. Of course, there's never any doubt about when an article was written, either.

I received a lot of comments on last week's article on “Namin' Names.” I have a very responsive readership. I know you're used to writing directly to me and you like to do that. Probably, because I always answer. It gives us real communication.

But, I really wish y'all would use the “Comments” sections of the blog. Don't be shy. Everyone deserves to be heard. And, my readers have some really interesting comments!

I'm not trying to get out of answering you. I simply want to share your words, ideas, thoughts and feelings with others.

How about if I promise - I will continue to answer! And, remember, it will get you a link-back - which everyone can use if you have a website.
