Hi Everyone!

“Ask and you shall receive.” Last week, I wrote that I hoped we'd get enough rain to keep the pollen off the lake - so it would stay clean.

“Be careful what you ask for.” The lake is clean - REALLY clean. All it's done in the past week is rain!

I think I've lost some email over the past couple of weeks. Some I was going to answer and, now, I can't find them. I suppose I may have dreamed it, but I don't think so.

I spent two days last week running checks on this computer. That lost me a couple more things, and I never found the email. But, at least, I'm running smoothly again.

Still, it's a PITA to have to stop the world and clean up a computer! If you sent me something that went unanswered, you might want to try again.

You May Have Noticed - Different Format

Well, I guess it isn't actually new. But, every once in a while, I get a wild hair to change my newsletter delivery process.

So ... no more delivery announcements and no more autoresponders. Starting today, the Trade Journal will come straight to your inbox, in its entirety. And, it will be a bit less lengthy. Maybe.

If you still prefer to read it online, you'll find a link to the online version at the top of each issue.

Please be SURE you have my address in your address book or have it white listed according to your ISP. I do NOT watch my language and jump through hoops to try to get around filters.

According to the television show, “20-20,” only one out of every 55 work-at-home jobs found on the World Wide Web is legitimate. The other 54 are all scams!

They tried to interview a guy who had been busted for collecting $39.95 each selling a packet of worthless material to people wanting to work from home.

I'm sure I don't have to tell most of you - this is no surprise. The Wild Wild Web has ALWAYS been full of guys running amuck by preying on folks who simply want to do honest work.

The problem is, now, it's going to get worse! More people are looking for ways to augment their incomes. And, many more are looking for ways to create NEW incomes.

Of course, the scamsters will increase right along with the numbers of those needing work. Sad. But, true.

The good news is - it IS perfectly possible to make a living online. But, it's like any other business. You WILL need to learn and do the work.

You will also need to avoid those who try to make you think you can get something for nothing. There ARE no magic bullets!

What you DO need is your OWN product and some idea of how to run a business in the most professional manner. You need to learn from someone with the REAL-WORLD experience to train you.

Due to the changing economy, those already IN an online business may need to review and reorganize.

Stupefyingly (IS there such a word?) Awesome

During those horrible bushfires in Australia, one of our members down there sent me something I simply have to share with you.

This is a Power Point presentation of one of the most awesome things I've ever seen. How I would have loved to have seen this "in person!"

Unfortunately, that can never happen, now, since the fires took it.

Nothing is worse than loss of homes and life in catastrophes such as Katrina and those Australian bushfires. But, the loss of this man's life's work has to rank right up there as a major tragedy. I've NEVER seen anything like this!
